Black Artist Foundry and Nine Sixteen Luxuries "This is Sac" founder and creative director Dev Anglin have collaborated for PROOf of our presence and impact as Black artists in the Sacramento region.
On Saturday, July 29th, 2023 at 5:00 PM in Downtown Sacramento we gathered a large group of Black artists from all disciplines for an unforgettable group photo. Together, we created a visual testament of our region's rich artistic legacy—a captivating image that celebrates and documents our collective brilliance.
The first 30 Black artists registered for PROOf received a Nine Sixteen Luxuries "This is Sac" BlackAF t-shirt.

By participating in this project, artists agreed to be photographed and filmed. Their image and likeness were captured and could be used for promotional, documentation, and archival purposes by the organizers and affiliated entities. Please note that by attending the event and taking part in the group photo, artists consented for their image to be used in connection with this project.

Dev Anglin is a self-taught multifaceted creative who has developed a profession within the visual production world. Over 10 years on his creative journey he’s landed on a movie set, multiple corporate marketing campaigns, and gallery exhibitions. These production skills translated to a grasp on the world of entrepreneurship to Dev’s career in the fashion and marketing industry. Building several companies that provide products and services for others not only to build but advance their business & look good doing it.
